Indiana Signs 3-Star Linebacker James Miller Over Florida State

The Indiana Hoosiers, led by linebacker coach Kane Wommack, landed Florida linebacker James Miller over in-state power Florida State. Miller held 20 total offers including Power Five teams Iowa, Louisville, LSU, Mississippi, Oregon, South Carolina and West Virginia.

Miller has great size at six-foot-one and 225 pounds that will translate to the Big Ten. During his senior season at Armwood H.S. in Seffner, FL, Miller was a tackling machine making an ungodly 164 tackles and 44 tackles for loss, including 11 sacks in 15 games. He was a takeaway causing monster forcing nine fumbles, recovering three and breaking up seven passes. He earned an all-state selection and was named the 2017 Hillsborough County Defensive Player of the Year.
