The Indiana Hoosiers received a big boost from a big piece of their offensive line as starting guard Mike Katic has withdrawn his name from the NFL Draft and announcing that he will return to IU in 2024.

Katic started the last 24 games for the Hoosiers over the previous two seasons. He was also voted a team captain prior to the 2023 season by his teammates. With his returning the left guard position is solidified and makes the offensive line room that much deeper. Katic could also take over the starting center position as he has played their in the past and served as IU’s backup center last year.
