The Indiana Hoosiers wrapped up their weekend with a second commitment in as many days, as 247 Sports Composite three-star athlete Cam Jones pledged his services to IU via Twitter on Sunday evening. Jones, 6-foot-1 205 pounds, is listed as an athlete and played running back and free safety at St. Benedict at Auburndale. He will likely play wide receiver offense when he arrives in Bloomington.
In his Twitter statement Jones said:
"Today is a very special day for me but first I want to Thank God for guiding me in the right path. Deciding what college to attend is an extremely tough and important decision. After visiting with several different schools I'm thrilled to say I'll be continuing my football career at Indiana University. I'm committing today to be apart of the Hoosier Family. Nothing against any of the other schools that have been recruiting me, your time and attention is greatly appreciated. I just feel at the current moment Indiana is what's best for me!! #BreakThrough #Leo901"
Jones is the third commitment in the 2018 class and the first on the offensive side of the ball. He currently had four offers including IU, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, and Tennessee. The Hoosiers currently sit at 50th Nationally and 10th in the Big Ten in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
