The Indiana Hoosiers started their week off with a bang as they landed a commitment from three-star tackle Nick Marozas from Brother Rice H.S. in Chicago. The Hoosiers are looking for tackles in this class and have landed a pretty solid one in Marozas who holds offers from 14 schools including Indiana, Virginia, Cincinnati, and other Group of Five schools.
The big tackle announced his commitment on Twitter Monday evening saying, "I want to start off by thanking my parents for everything they have done, and continue to do, in support of me. I would like to thank the whole Brother Rice coaching staff for shaping me into the player I am today, and for pushing me to be the best version of myself. Thank you to all of the coaches that believed that I have the ability to play at the next level, and took the time to recruit me. I am very honored and proud to say I will continue my academic and athletic careers at Indiana University. #LEO #B1G #BreakThrough.'
Marozas is listed at 6-foot-4 and 272 pounds. He becomes the fifth member of the Hoosiers' 2018 recruiting class. He was recently on campus for one of Indiana's recruiting camps. He played left and right tackle as a junior at Brother Rice and has the power to pancake defenders and speed to get out in front of a play on the edge. You can watch his HUDL Tape here.
