We are just six weeks away from the 2017 regular season kicking off, but the Indiana staff is doing work on the recruiting trail as they have secured a commitment from Miles Marshall, a three-star wide receiver out of Lilburn, Georgia. Marshall is the ninth commitment in Indiana's 2018 class and with Jacolby Hewitt the second wide receiver in the class.

Marshall made his announcement on Twitter Thursday afternoon writing, "First off I would like to thank God. I want to thank all the teachers, friends, family who have supported me and pushed me to be the man I am today. I would like to personally thank Coach Godfree, Coach Gast, Coach Flagler, Coach Munoz and countless other coaches who helped me grow as an athlete and a man. Most importantly I would like to give a huge thank you to my parents and my sister for guiding me down this path and providing anything for me to be successful. I would also like to thank all the coaches who recruited me. This has been a very hard decision but the best place for me to spend the next four years is Bloomington. I'm going to Indiana."

Marshall is a big receiver at six-foot-three and 200 pounds. He has a good set of hands and a nose for the end zone. As a junior at Parkview High School in 2016 he made 47 catches for 773 yards and 10 touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Region as well as second-team All-Gwinett County honors.

He is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports' Composite rankings and the 970th best player in the nation. He held offers from 28 schools including Power Five members Iowa State, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest. You can watch Marshall's HUDL tape here.
