The Big Ten Network has named former Indiana University offensive lineman Dan Feeney to their All-Decade Team. Feeney was a two-time All-American and played for the Hoosiers from 2012-2016 and played in 46 of a possible 50 games. He helped lead the Hoosiers two back-to-back bowl games in 2015 and 2016 and paved the way for a 2,000-yard season from Tevin Coleman and three 1,000-yard seasons between Jordan Howard and Devine Redding (2x). Feeney was a third round pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 and is still playing for them heading into the 2020 season.

“The thing to remember about Feeny is, it was his freshman year, and we're their camp and kind of got that 10 minutes or so off to the side with Kevin Wilson while things were getting going,” BTN Analyst Dave Revsine recalled, “and I was asking him about freshmen and he said we have a freshman offensive lineman, who I think is going to start from day one, but he's not going to start because we're weak in his position, he's going to start because he is ready to go. I mean he started all 12 games as a freshman, didn't allow a single sec the entire year. And then that next year he started all 12 games again on a team that's got a program record for rushing errands.”

Former Illinois defensive lineman and current BTN analyst J Lehman said, “here's what made Feeny so good. They used to pull a lot of linemen and demand that their linemen also get up to the second level. And the reason that Tevin Coleman exploded for 2000 yards the reason that Jordan Howard had such a great year when he was there was because of not only the scheme of Kevin Wilson the guys like Dan Feeny. Dan Feeney was an old school enforcer, what's that mean? It means a guy that's going to lead with his hat in his hands, and he will take you to the ground by any means necessary.”

Revsine also said “just overall with Dan Feeny I think the thing that stood out to me is, he was ready to go from day one. He worked really hard. I was the other thing that stood out you saw him in practice, he never, ever took a playoff, and that translated to the games, and cleaning, someone who really resonated with me from this past decade.”

Feeney talked with BTN’s Rick Pizzo about being selected to the All-Decade team. “Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate you guys taking the time and it's a huge honor you know i it obviously wasn't just me, had a great O-line had my time in Indiana, a great coach and staff so it's definitely not just me one of his words everybody that you know helped me be the player that I could be in my time in Indiana” Feeney said.
