On Monday morning Florida's KJ Sails announced via his twitter account that he had picked up an offer from the Indiana Hoosiers. The talented defensive back from the Sunshine State has added multiple offers over the last couple of months, but the offer from the Hoosiers is his first from a Power Five Conference.
The 5-foot 11, 170 pound Sails had a strong junior season at East Bay High School, recording 69 tackles, including four tackles for a loss. He also had an interception, three passes defensed, and forced two fumbles. He lines up primarily at Safety in his Hudl Highlight tape, frequently making plays from the center field position due to his ability to anticipate where the ball is going.
According to 247sports, Sails is the No. 34 cornerback in his class and the 45th best player in the state of Florida. In addition to Indiana, the three-star prospect also holds offers from Cincinnati, South Alabama, South Florida, Temple, and Tulane.
