The Hoosiers picked up Darryl Minor after he and his brother took a visit to Bloomington this weekend. Minor is a Junior with three years of playing time left. He played at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas before transferring to UTEP. He did not play at all for UTEP this past season. Along with his brother Kobee, Darryl received interest from Texas Tech and spent two seasons with the Red Raiders. He bet on himself and will suit up for the Hoosiers this season.

Minor has a big frame standing at six-foot and weighing 225 pounds. He is a linebacker that displays a fast and elusive speed.

With the departures of Cam Jones and Bradley Jennings Jr. and this past season Minor could just have the opportunity to make himself a leader for Tom Allen’s defense. The position is pretty thin, and he could have an opportunity at the starting gig.
