Over the last couple of seasons the Hoosiers have lacked the explosive game changer at wide receiver that helps win Big Ten games. With LeBron Bond’s commitment on Sunday night, the Hoosiers added explosiveness to their 2025 recruiting class.

Bond said that “Coach Cignetti , Coach Shanahan and Coach Miller made me feel like Indiana was home and they treated me and my parents great.”

The Virginia native was recently in Bloomington taking in a spring practice and getting a feel for the cream and crimson and the campus, which he describes as having a suburban feel.

Bond brings track speed to the Hoosiers and describes himself as “extremely electrifying”. Track has helped develop the next level speed that is rare on the football field.

His explosiveness is clear on tape and in the box score as Bond scored 16 touchdowns and had over 1,300 yards receiving as a junior while helping Maury High School to a Class 5 Virginia State championship.

The Hoosiers 2025 class sits at 55th nationally according to 247Sports with four total commitments.
