Early Signing Day 2022 Profile: Cornerback Jordan Shaw

The early signing period for college football is now open and prospects and transfers are inking letters of intent all over the country. Hoosier Huddle will have profiles on all the football signees as well as an update from head coach Tom Allen.

The Hoosiers flipped the commitment of Jordan Shaw from Colorado to sign the three-star cornerback from California on Wednesday. Shaw should be able to get on the field fairly quickly for the Hoosiers with all the attrition that has happened at the cornerback position.

At St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy in Downey, California, Shaw made 83 tackles with seven interceptions, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries on defense as as senior. That performance landed him a spot on the All-American Bowl roster.

Shaw is also a dynamic athlete who could find his way on to the field in the punt or kick return game. He returned five punts and one kickoff for a touchdown
