The Indiana Hoosiers started the holiday weekend with fireworks of their own Thursday afternoon as they secured their 10th verbal commitment for the class of 2015. This one from Titus Booker, a 3-star cornerback/running back out of Grayslake, Illinois.  247 Sports ranks booker as the 24th best prospect in the state and the 74th best running back in the nation. However, Booker projects to play corner at the next level. At 5’11” and 172 lbs. Booker has the size to match-up with receivers in the Big Ten and according to Rivals.com possesses 4.47 speed and a 37-inch vertical, so he can go up and get the ball. With his experience as a running back and his speed, Booker can become a weapon in the return game for the Hoosiers down the road.

Booker choose the Hoosiers over Wisconsin, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Miami (OH), Western Michigan, and Central Michigan. His primary recruiter from IU was coach James Patton and is the fourth defensive player to join the Crimson Army. With this commitment Indiana now has the 44th best class for 2015 according to 247’s Composite rankings.
