3-Star athlete Tommy Mister has committed to play for the Hoosiers in 2014.  The 6’2” 205 lb Illinois native, attended St. Rita’s in Chicago, and was recruited by both Kevin Wilson and running backs coach Delland McCullough to play running back for Indiana.  Mister becomes the 19th recruit in the Hoosiers’ 2014 class.

Mister visited IU on December 13th, and was originally committed to play at Iowa State.  He was ranked as the 22nd best athlete in Illinois by 247 Sports.  Mister will most likely redshirt a year in order to learn the running back position.  The Hoosiers have enough depth at running back right now with Tevin Coleman and D’Angelo Roberts returning to the Indiana backfield.  Don’t be surprised if the coaching staff moves Mister around after giving him an initial shot at playing running back.  He is big and athletic enough to play on the defensive side of the ball.
