The Indiana Hoosiers made a big recruiting splash on the first day of June as Tom Allen and company secured the verbal commitment of Beau Robbins. Robbins is a six-foot-four 238-pound defensive end out of Carmel H.S. Robbins is rated by 247 Sports Composite as a four-star prospect and the 256th best player in the country. Needless to say this was a major win for Tom Allen and Mark Hagen on the recruiting trail.

Robbins picked the Hoosiers over Arkansas, Boston College, Iowa,  Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and Purdue among others. He is a defensive lineman who is both quick and strong with a great motor and a fantastic feel for the game.
