The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff is underway! For the 100 days leading up to kickoff, we at Hoosier Huddle will feature every player from the 2024 roster in anticipation of Indiana’s first game of the season against Florida International University. Today, we will highlight a third-year walk-on player for the Hoosiers, Jack Greer.

Position: Offensive Line

Jack Greer enters his third season with the Hoosiers after walking on in fall camp back in 2022. The Hamilton Southeastern product picked up some offers from smaller schools, such as Eastern Michigan, Indiana State, and Illinois State, but ultimately chose to join the Hoosiers without a scholarship. Most of Greer’s contributions come on the scout team, where he was a co-offensive scout team player of the week against Maryland in his first season. He has not yet seen game action.

In 2024, Greer will continue to develop under offensive line coach Bob Bostad and see if his game can flourish with the new coaching staff. He will serve as a scout team depth piece.
