Written by: Sammy Jacobs (@Hoosier_Huddle)

The 2023 edition of the Hoosier Huddle Countdown is officially underway! We are counting down from 100 to the beginning of the 2023 Indiana University football season. Each day, we will look at one (or two) players on the current Indiana football roster and highlight the player’s role in the upcoming season. Today’s profile features junior linebacker Joshua Rudolph.

Name: Joshua Rudolph

Hometown: Montgomery, AL (Park Crossing)

Position: Linebacker

Year: Junior

Height/Weight: 5’11”/230 pounds

Rudolph comes to IU from Austin Peay after a productive first two season for the Governors. In total, Rudolph played in 18 games with APU and had 94 tackles. He was second on the team in 2022 with 73 tackles and third on the team with 7.5 tackle for loss.

This season Rudolph will try and prove himself at the Power Five level after a successful FCS career. He will be in the rotation at linebacker and gives IU speed at the position.

The Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff rolls on with Day 25 tomorrow!
