Welcome, Hoosiers fans to the 2023 Hoosier Huddle Countdown! We countdown from 100 days to the beginning of the 2023 Indiana University football season on September 2nd against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Every day, we look at players on the current roster and highlight the players' roles in the upcoming season. Today we into local wide receiver Jackson Wasserstrom.

Hometown: Westfield, Indiana

High School : Westfield

Position: Wide Receiver

Year: Freshman

Last season, Wasserstrom walked on to the program during the season and redshrited. He earned co-offensive scout team player of the week honors against Penn State. Out of high school he was recruited by tight end’s Coach Kevin Wright.

This season, Wasserstrom will get valuable reps behind a veteran and experienced wide receiver unit. Expect to hear his name in the foreseeable future for the Hoosiers.
