Finally, the human brain is the most complex thing in the universe.
LOL.
some would rather the poor pay more so the rich can get richer and the wealth gap can keep getting bigger.
some vote to make it harder on the poor and than complain about them needing handouts to survive.
@hurryinghoosiers the poor don’t pay anything now. Fed income Taxes. Health insurance. School. Subsidies everywhere. Your mouth moves and your fingers type but there’s no brain supporting anything but the most rudimentary functions

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
First, “destructive capitalism” is an oxymoron. A vital feature of capitalism is innovation. We innovate out of the destruction. This isn’t to say no capitalist can individually destroy something, that can happen. But as a general economic system, capitalism doesn’t destroy. It can’t.
Not to anyone who understands the term. While capitalistic innovation lead to the horseless carriage, the buggy whip industry was destroyed in the process. In common parlance, that's what "destructive capitalism" means.
I listened to him every day when he was 9-12 EST, but he's 6-9 PST here in AZ and I only catch part of the last hour typically.@bradstevens they turn me off as well, literally Smerconish is all I listen to.

Nope.
Destructive capitalism refers to the criticisms of capitalism that necessarily produce negative outcomes. The criticisms are leveled by those who really don’t understand capitalism .

So now you are denying that capitalism has negative outcomes?
So now you are denying that capitalism has negative outcomes?
That’s like asking if Democracy has negative outcomes.
You can always cherry pick a negative. Overall it’s positive.
I deny the concept of “negative capitalism”.

I deny the concept of “negative capitalism”.
Negative capitalism is just admitting that negative outcomes exist and exploring them.
Negative capitalism is just admitting that negative outcomes exist and exploring them.
Don’t agree, A particular negative outcome (part of capitalism is assuming economic risks) is not the same as what radical, and not so radical, leftists see as negative capitalism. Capitalism is an overall net positive.

Ah, I forgot how much you love arguing straw men.

“Negative Capitalism” is trying to look at negative outcomes on the societal or systems level, not on the success or failure of investments/ companies

One thing none of us will ever forget is how much you & Mark are ate up with CoH. People say stupid shit on here all day to crickets but you two can’t hear a fart from him without freaking out & going into personal attack mode.🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Negative Capitalism” is trying to look at negative outcomes on the societal or systems level,
Agreed. That is why I reject the concept. Capitalism is a net positive.
@co-hoosier I agree outcome is a poor word choice for what I assume their trying to describe.

Correct, but it doesn't necessarily require a net negative overall result from capitalism (although, admittedly many who study probably assume as much). Capitalism can be a net positive while still having some serious systemic negative outcomes.

Dude, Co.H and I have two decades worth of practice debating each other. We have a thing going that works. Until you can present a 1000-word essay on who Judge Holden really was, you don't get to critique.
