I believe Hellfires are designed to penetrate armor or buildings. If it hit a thin skinned drone, I doubt it would detonate. So it goes through a non-critical part of the drone but never hits enough material to cause the firing pin to penetrate far enough back. Drone is damaged but not destroyed.

What I think about this.
UAP’s is a better term that UFO’s. (They are not all objects)
They are real or, the observers and witnesses have been conditioned to believe they are real. People like @bradstevens can opine on which.
They involve some kind of intelligence or purpose.
They are not belligerent or dangerous.

Would a drone continue to fly after being hit by a hellfire missle?
I have no idea considering my kids only have the entry level ones which will break if it hits the ground to hard.
