im sure there are many transition issues we don’t know about.  Biden’s public tone and tenor towards all things Trump shows me he and his administration weren’t too interested in anything from he prior administration.

Those aren’t related to the standard transition process which mostly did not happen.

Yeah, it's getting comical now. COH seems to think a peaceful transmission of power means continuing with the previous admin's policies. But only in one direction. LOL.

Fact: President Trump and his administration failed to execute a standard transition process for incoming President Biden.

Fact: President Biden and his administration executed a standard transition process for incoming President Trump.

Peaceful transition requires mutuality.

Who the unwilling one was is clear and undeniable.

All statutory transition matters were met.

And thus.

Biden ran a dishonest campaign, he hated Trump well before J6, and the Democrats were warming up to a post presidency impeachment.  Both parties poisoned the well.

I wonder if it was "shockingly gracious", or "shockingly gracious...for Trump."  That's a huge gap.

Wow! He treated Biden and the incoming administration with public disrespect and as illegitimate and tried to overturn the legitimate  results of the election, but he left a nice letter, so that makes it all OK?

How can you possibly use the word “dishonest” to criticize another politician and not feel hypocritical?

True to form, Barack is farther left than any of our Dem friends believe

https://twitter.com/Osint613/status/1984703758362685805

He probably is closer in personal politics to Mamdani than he is to a guy like Fetterman. But he's also an incrementalist, which someone like Madmdani needs in his ear if he is going to govern.

This kinda reminds me of the backlash in Trump's first term against anyone who would serve in his cabinet or advise him.  Even if you grant the candidate/winner is a bumbling boob with terrible instincts, isn't it a benefit to surround that person with wiser, more moderate advisors?

You are assuming that a terrorist-friending socialist cares what a former President has to say. Obama has always been left of moderate Dems, but the party continues to shift to the left, which will make Obama appear more moderate over time. He was anything but.

yes I know @reason is a libertarian group but this seems balanced:

NYC tried this before and it failed. Maybe some people just aren't wealthy enough to live in Manhattan. Try Staten Island or New Jersey.

It doesn’t make it okay.  But it does make much of it irrelevant.

Biden’s dishonesty, the dishonesty of 51 present and former intelligence officials, the dishonesty of the FBI, the dishonesty of the Biden staff, and the media ratification of all the dishonesty is unprecedented all without any meaningful accountability, is unprecedented and damaging.

Trump?  He was blistered from the get go.

You believe so many things that are untrue or pure speculation it amazes me. I don’t know why that is for sure, but it is common among those who defend Trump when there is no truly honest defense. His failure to carry out a standard transition is indefensible.

im not defending Trump.  I’m showing that in the context of an anti-Trump democratic/media onslaught that began impeachment discussions almost before Trump drew his first breath as president, his failure to conduct a “standard transition” doesn’t mean Jack squat.  Our politics is a mess, and your transition arguments are insignificant in context.

Couldn’t disagree more. This is standard defense of Trump - “everyone was/is so mean to him [bullshit], so the indefensible things he does must be excused.”
