Imposing sanctions often means that lives are at risk either directly, or indirectly through purchase of weapons and paying mercenaries.

Trump, and presumably the CIA, helped María Corina Machado in her clandestine escape from Venezuela where she was in hiding and under threat of arrest and imprisonment. This Peace Prize winner fully supports Trump’s efforts in Venezuela.
