Lol....I've been several times. The place is expensive, food sucks, and my kids loved it as well.
My kids hit the genetic lotto and both had food allergies that neither my wife and I have (beef, dairy, pineapple, and for a short time...garlic....which REALLY sucked because garlic is in EVERYTHING). They've mostly grown out of them (oldest only has dairy now), but ages 6-12 were tough.
Great Wolf Lodge though was actually really good though about allergies. When we say to our waitress that our kids have allergies, the chef comes out personally, talked to my kids asking them what they wanted and then talked about ways that he could alter the choice to make to allergy-friendly for them. Best dining service we've ever had allergy-wise.
Yup, expensive, but I'm sometimes willing to pay more for good service.
We just got back from a couple days at a place up in Frankenmuth, Michigan that was a lot like the Lodge. Super fun place, about the same prices and had better slides then the Lodge, IMO.
My group preferred this place over Great Wolf actually. We'll be back.
Unfortunate development at Trumpapalooza last night.
@sig the problem is just like bidenflation watch the cost of shit 3 months after those checks go out
I don't support the govt. printing out money and giving it away so yes I get that. I didn't agree with the lockdowns or COVID checks either.
The Covid checks should have only gone out to anybody making less than 50k a year. They are the ones who truly needed it.
Every business was allowed to apply for the government money to cover the revenue lost from lockdowns and probably half of the groups that applied should have been rejected. I know several small businesses that applied and didn't get it because the pile of money was already gone after groups like the NFL and Fortune 500 companies had already raided it.

Are you talking about the PPP fund? I don't think the NFL tapped into that. It was replete with fraud, though, which wasn't surprising given the paucity of oversight. That program, which was part of the CARES Act signed into law by Trump in March 2020, is widely considered by prosecutors, oversight bodies, and experts to be one of the largest systemic thefts and frauds in US history.

There were income limits but it was something higher than $50K. I think it was around $80K and around $150K for couples. I agree something much lower would have been appropriate and none at all would have been even better.

Yes, PPP funds. I stand corrected. The NFL did not apply (I'll have to investigate to see where I heard that from). Otherwise agree completely.
The ruling isn't a surprise. It's actually a bit of a surprise that two dissented, even though they were Alito and Thomas.

Good to see state and local officials preparing for the likelihood that the corrupt federal regime will be sowing doubt, confusion and chaos over the next few months.

Those two are beyond redemption.

Don't you talk about me and Murt like that.
Trump's underwater on every major issue. He will be a drag on the party this fall. It's baked in, with just three weeks to go until early voting begins in some states. A blue wave is a certainty. The only question is how high will it be.
"The cost of living is dragging down Republicans more than any other issue, as even some Republican voters lose faith in Mr. Trump’s economy."
"Those earning less than $50,000 were more than twice as likely to say they would vote for a Democratic congressional candidate this fall rather than a Republican, 63 percent to 31 percent. That would represent a dramatic shift from 2024, when Mr. Trump narrowly carried that group, according to exit polling."
Independents like me will decide the midterms, and that's more bad news for the GOP. "Independent voters have especially soured on Mr. Trump. Just 10 percent of them said the economy was better today than a year ago and only 27 percent approve of Mr. Trump’s job performance overall. And in the fight for Congress, 57 percent of independent voters said they planned to vote for a Democrat compared to only 34 percent for a Republican."
Sorry, Pubs. It's "wait 'til '28" time.
