I doubt many think about the label. They look at the promises. (Just like many did in 2024.)
Much of what the DSA’s claim to be socialism isn’t. Its just left crazy shit. You are spot on with the “dont know anything” point. Today’s 20- something voters were in school during the time Obama took public education down from the ineffective place it was at that time. To survive we must have a well-educated voting base.
My hope remains that the socialist agenda will flop so quickly and spectacularly, we'll be forced into another quick course correction. Kinda like what just happened to MAGA. I don't think the avg voter wants either party to enact their full-bore agendas. Really didn't take long for Americans to shift away from the crazy BLM agenda. Just got to keep firing these assh%les until they give us something real.
Why do we go through this charade of labeling them DSA? They're just Marxists. Half their governing board openly identifies as Marxist. They celebrate Mao Zedong's birthday.

That sounds great in theory, but it's only getting worse. I don't see what is going to change that until there is a real reckoning. By then, it will be too late.
