Well, I read your analogy differently. Comparing 2 years of non-stop Russia talk on virtually every outlet versus a month of Biden Chinese corruption on a few outlets is not analogous, IMO. And still not even the sheer volume of Russiagate BS, even when you added in later, not your original post, the Hunter laptop.
What I will say is analogous is that both sides are tribal and will equally ignore their own faults while singing about the other party's indiscretions. It's just one party has a choir and the other a duet, maybe a trio.

what i will never understand is htat when we line up the indiscretions of both sides why we become preoccupied with same when it's a wash and don't just focus on policy
