You always get that wrong. I'm fighting for the soul of my party - the Republican Party. I have no connection to the Democratic Party and will not because I don't believe in much of what they believe in. I've held my nose and voted for MAGA Republicans except for Trump since 2016, but that's ending. No MAGA will get my vote from now on. I won't vote for many Democrats, but I sure as hell will not vote for a MAGA Republican. Any politician who treats Republican voters as if they're stupid, as MAGA Republican politicians do, doesn't deserve my vote.

Seems like Iran (or is it really Israel?) is widening the fault lines in the MAGA movement. Tucker Carlson saying he thinks he's about to be charged with a crime is probably what I would normally lead with, but much more entertaining is Megyn Kelly explaining exactly why she said Mark Levin has a micropenis:
It's a bunch of noise from entertainers. Rubio, DeSantis, and Vance are the future of the party and they're competing against a bunch of dumb socialists like Mamdani. As long as the border stays closed and the percentage of foreign born population decreases the GOP/MAGA will just fine.

For crying out loud. I see MAGA as a set of beliefs. Beliefs that have been around for decades, even a century, before Trump put it on a red hat. You see it as a group of people and imply that with every post you write. I can’t convince you otherwise even though I tried. The whole idea of a civil war is irrelevant to me because ideas evolve. It is important to you.because people often shift loyalties.
There will never be a civil war of substance in the Republican Party as long as there exists a stark-and-getting-ever-starker contrast with the lop-off-actual-micropenises Democratic Party.

MAGA has some beliefs which I agree with and several I don’t. Their beliefs shift with the whims of the President because of their unnatural loyalty to him and they shift to beliefs that aren’t at all conservative. The most significant thing about MAGA is the culture, and the culture is toxic. In addition to their loyalty to an extremely flawed man of exceptionally poor character and no discernible positive principles, the culture includes incivility, constant dishonesty, willful ignorance, paranoia, hypocrisy, pessimism, unfounded grievances and a sense of persecution, anger and outrage, and on and on. There is pretty much nothing admirable about MAGA culture. I have no desire to be associated with that culture. It’s indefensible and embarrassing. I miss the Republican Party. MAGA is not it.

Oh my. And you claim that your politics are not based on emotion?
Trump culture, whatever that is, is way down the list of importance regarding the presidency. And if you are right about his culture, it goes away with him. This is why I think talk of civil war is nonsense. The ensuing power struggle , if there is one, is normal politics, not a civil war.

It won't go over well. If it's a prolonged war they'll lose Congress. However, the border will still be secure until 28, which is the greatest threat to America.
