There are plenty more such reports.

Per that piece of propaganda, it was a "famine" that killed "hundreds?"  I've posted about this before. Here's a decent synopsis:

"Global health and aid groups, such as the United Nations, measure food security using the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification scale. Famine is classified as Phase 5, which is officially declared when three strict thresholds are met simultaneously in an area: [1, 2]
  • Extreme food shortage: At least 20 percent of households face an extreme lack of food and cannot meet basic needs.
  • Acute malnutrition: Over 30 percent of children suffer from acute malnutrition or dangerous physical wasting.
  • High death rate: At least two people (or four children) out of every 10,000 die each day from outright starvation or the combination of hunger and disease. [1, 2, 3]
