Just got a prognosis. Stage 4 gliobalblastoma (sp?). Terminal. 21 month average lifespan with treatment.
That sucks. Too young. My dad died of brain cancer when he was 67. About 6 months after diagnosis. The hard part will be watching the cancer progress while she deteriorates and knowing nothing can be done. Your friend will need your support more than ever, even if he doesn’t ask for it.

When I was running the restaurant in Perrysburg, our regular jazz singer who performed every weekend got sick and went to the doctor. They found a giant tumor in her stomach. She was dead within days. Had just cut a demo and everything. Funeral was in Toledo's largest black Baptist church, with two pews of white guys (us) there.
