@bar-down I have to admit... a snooty Euro country like Belgium directly feeling the effects of Trump... is gratifying, and mildly endearing for Trump. Kind of like your demented, hated, cousin beating the hell out of some opp or bully that you hate just as much or more.
@iunorth i get it because it's just so dirty and we all know that it is. but don't complain too much. it's sort of a beta move to act like you're that worried about a player on the american team.
@bar-down I'm not as knowledgeable... but I suspect the major programs over there, France, England, Spain... no matter their views, their public stance would be more like... "Ha ha... I don't GAF... Its US Soccer, I don't care who they get eligible to play... We're still going to beat their ass!" The mentality of these inconsequential Euro peoples, Netherlands, Belgium, even Swedes and Norwegians... this whole thing tracks... And while I really do despise Trump... this is his wheel house, and its a rare area where I find him mildly amusing. In a shake my head and smirk and laugh kind of way. "That dude is nuts..."
