There was an article in the New York Post from a few days ago where Israel said the shooter may be tied to Iran

Iran, Portugal, whatever. Close enough.

I’m not following your point…if you’re really trying to make one

Give him some space, he’s probably still grappling with the idea that the party he stumps for has brought unprecedented levels of violence & hatred into our house & forever changed our country for the worse.

The shooter was given residency in 2017.

I was going to go with, " the ideology of Andrew Jackson, slaveholders, and Copperheads, and Know Nothings are no longer Democrats. That hatred rests in a different party today." So I am glad you went first.

Anyone want to look up those groups and claim there was not hate.

Now, the Democrats have gained John Brown's legacy of hatred.

But your reply was good, I don't have to say all that.

Yeah, not that I don’t enjoy these history lessons, but current events are more relevant, although I understand trying to distance yourself from them…

Btw, I’m still waiting on your breakdown of all of the benefits that middle eastern & Somali immigrants bring to your “diversity is our strength” claim.

I have asked much longer why Trump and Musk aren't elite but Soros is. So I will wait on someone to answer that.

Of course the correct answer is that Hollywood elite, banking elite, elite all stem from centuries of "Jewish elite". The people pushing that, one posting here once referenced the "Jew York Times" found they got much better traction dropping the Jewish word. But it causes all the people who aren't anti- semitic to tie themselves in knots.

Much like "western culture" replaced "White" by the same/similar people. It can be sold to non-racists. Who here knew Italian was not considered "White" in the US until after WW2? The shooter was Portuguese, western culture without a doubt. Yet people are upset he was here. Hmm, why? Traditional thinking in the US is southern Europe into Slavic Europe isn't White. So again, knot twisting.

Some do, some don't. It wasn't that long ago America didn't want Catholics because it was felt their allegiance was to the Pope and not the US.

Across the street from me is a biologist who is Islamic. I have no reason to think he is a "problem". There are certainly White Nationalists living in Idaho that concern me more.

This thinking is completely illogical & unfounded.  Want to have a challenge?  Lets’s find statistics, data, etc. to support our claims, yours being violence, crime, rapes,  etc committed by white Christian nationalists, & I’ll do Muslims.  What would you like to wager?

That’s ridiculous, Marv. If they are truly followers of Islam then that doesn’t make any sense…

In the US? What is McVeigh? I suspect you will want to claim he was something else

In my town, Bloomington, we had a White Nationalists kill a Korean student entering a Methodist Church on July 4, 20 or so years ago. I don't know of a killing in the name of Islam.

Worldwide, I will take " Who are the Nazis for $200."
