It was indeed a finals study session for her entry level class called "Principles of Economics" taken by tons of Brown students. The session was being held by a teaching assistant. It is a class having nothing to do with her separate affiliation with the program for Judaic Studies.

I did see newspaper interviews where two students said they could not understand what he said. But who knows how many more did hear it and just haven't talked to the press.
But I am quite willing to wait on them to decide if there are different accounts they have to reconcile. Better correct than fast, something they neglected with the last person of interest.
I don't think we ought to be guessing as to the shooter's motivation, religious leanings, or straying from what we know to be true. He was a chunky 5'8" or so man with dark clothing and wearing a face mask, so it's hard to even say what race he belonged to. Can we just hold off on jumping to conclusions?

The reporting was that it was an auditorium (or lecture hall) room, not a classroom. The auditoriums don't belong to specific instructors. No article that I've seen says that a witness heard that. If you've seen one, link it. Loony Laura Loomer and other Twitter Twits posting that it was heard without linking a source does not count as a credible source.I didn’t try, I said it.
