I was spared from the worst of last week's storms, though we lost power for about an hour and it took out the board on my older kitchen fridge and it didn't reset this time. So last Friday the wife and I headed to Home Depot to buy a new one. Was supposed to be delivered the next day but was rescheduled for today. Wake up to a text that it didn't arrive from LG and they would reschedule again from what I can gather to this Saturday but after going 0 for 2 I have my doubts. I have an upright freezer and a smaller fridge/freezer in the garage as well as a 7.5 in my man cave so it's at best a minor inconvenience.
That said, anyone else had any issues with appliance deliveries lately being pushed back? My daughter ran into a similar issue a few months back and decided to buy one in person that was in stock in the store after being given the runaround for a few weeks.
A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
