@spartans9312 many weapons systems we’ve sold to our NATO allies are going to Ukraine. Our NATO allies are buying their replacements from us as well. It’ll take a while to get them.
Weapons sales aren’t a secret, mostly, and the notices are on the DSCA website.

I will give a simple answer, a lot of presidents have come home from meeting with Putin saying what a great guy he is and how they really get him. That is NOT just limited to this president, though this president has done just that. We seem awfully predisposed to want to trust Putin. Ukraine really cannot afford to trust him very much at all. A peace without substantial and real teeth WILL be violated. A pinky swear doesn't accomplish this. This isn't only about Trump, he just happens to be the actor in the spotlight at the moment. Add to that a peace deal now would help his midterms, there might be even more pressure to accept the pinky promise.

This is all hypothetical. We are still selling Patriots to Europe including the UK that are earmarked for Ukraine…that is happening

"Putin’s goal with an incursion into Nato would not be a clear victory, but a continued undermining of Western institutions. He is operating as a well-trained KGB agent would: confuse, subvert, fracture the opposition.

Europe must:
- Provide complete protection of Ukrainian airspace – the bare minimum for an ally at war.
- Immediately send Ukraine all the weapons it needs; no delay. Why are Greek Patriot systems defending Saudi energy infrastructure when war is at Europe’s doorstep?
- Instead of issuing more rounds of sanctions, enforce the existing packages that are in place, which are more than powerful enough on paper but have been evaded shamelessly by the Russian authorities. Everyone knows who the violators are; now it’s time to go after them with all of the enforcement mechanisms at Europe’s disposal.
- Initiate a complete cessation of diplomatic affairs with Russia, including recalling all ambassadors from Moscow, barring Russia from participation in all international bodies founded on democratic principles; and immediately terminating all official language that so much as acknowledges Russia as a legitimate international actor.
- Seize Russian sovereign funds immediately and use them to power the war effort in Ukraine. Why is Belgium acting as the custodian of Russian money? It is absolutely unconscionable that Putin is taking advantage of European legal protections while openly waging war at its northern border.
