I believe that the mass importation of foreign Muslims has been a DISASTER for western societies. Not only should we forbid it, we should remove most of those that came here, particularly the Somalis.

The women who stay should be spayed.

Dark humor is supposed to be offensive to someone, right?

@arthur-dent We're called to love and help others but at the end of the day we need shelter from the elements and a bed in which to sleep. It's an interpretational error to glean that Jesus commands us to sleep in the streets. Besides, giving away all possessions includes one's own clothing. Did Jesus literally mean that we must walk naked in the streets and sleep in the nude on the streets of Indy in January?

Let's take it a step further. Are we literally called to rip our eyes out of our head to avoid sin?

Some discernment is required.

It's amazing, though, how often discernment is used to protect one's own desires. Just sayin'.

More amazing still that with all the discernment, so many people hired by churches prey on children.  You'd think with all the discernment going around someone would catch on before putting Brother Diddler in charge of the youth group.

Maybe the Trump administration should listen and heed advice about faith and religion from the Pope and other people who actually know about faith and religion.

Hegseth leads people in prayer by reading fake Bible quote from Pulp Fiction.

Don't look into the rates of sexual abuse committed by public school faculty. You're much better off leaving your child alone with a priest than a public school teacher.

For sure. The difference being the school board doesn’t claim supernatural abilities of discernment.

And don't even get started on the rate of sexual assault in American fraternities.

so what you’re saying is that a public university frat boy getting a degree in religious studies is a ticking time bomb?

Gotta be careful though, a lot of campus kangaroo courts that have it out for White boys. Obama and Biden Title IX changes made it so that an allegation is essentially enough to ruin a guys life. Removed any semblance of due process.

One of the darker parts of "Me Too" hysteria.
