Some apps on a phone just take over the phone and you can't do anything except close the app and start over. There is NOT any good apps from the local TV stations that really work well if you want to watch their weather forecast.Mine changes constantly. Disney, Cannabis vendors (which is laughable), Tymlos (a bone cancer treatment.....holy crap, does the banner know something I don't?), and Ross Dress for Less. Nothing I would remotely be interested in.
I've got a couple of aps on my phone that I use for daily mind exercise (sudoku, chess, wordle, etc.). They all have little pop-up ads whenever you start a new game, usually for some other game or ap they think I need. I have now made it a promise that any ad that pops up that requires me to click a minimum of three times before I can return to my desired game, I automatically remember and will never download said game / ap under any circumstances.
There are 10 types of people in this world, those who know binary and those who don't.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@larsiu Sammy better be making big money. These ads are literally full-screen on your phone, with no way to minimize them...
