Ya can’t deny the Knicks very impressive second half. But when it came down to the last 5 minutes SA choked on both ends of the floor. They couldn’t throw it in the ocean. Age makes a big difference (asK Cig about that). The top three SA players are 20, 21, and 22. OG is 28.
@co-hoosier As Chuck said on the postgame, SA played the dumbest basketball he's ever seen. I agree as awesome of a Knicks comeback as it was, that doesn't happen without the Spurs playing stupid ball.
@co-hoosier not really the spurs fault to be honest. they couldn't have known wu tang was going to come out at halftime. apparently ghostface killah said a silent prayer. that was pretty much game over. you can beat the knicks but you aren't beating the knicks AND the killer bees. the latter just keep on coming
@big-ryan Yeah, he may be the odds-on favorite, but if Brunson or KAT have a huge game 5 or 6 or whatever, that could change. OG was the player that turned the Knicks from a good team to a great team.
@jdb A Knicks fan was stabbed at a bar in Carmel last year. I don't condone what happened, but don't pretend that every fan base doesn't have these extreme reactions. Half of them are staged anyway for clicks
Probably Bloom after the Knicks fan said there was plenty enough secondary action on the weak side to get shooters open. Or the Knicks fan told him playing second base on the HS baseball team isn't a valid answer to the question "Did you play high school basketball?'. Either one could have made him snap.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@big-ryan Did you see his post game interview? Someone asked him how it felt to hit the game winner. He said everyone is excited, I’m excited , in like the calmest voice ever and a fake smile. Everyone laughed. He’s so hilarious. Had a funny Twitter exchange with Martha Stewart last week too.

@zeke4ahs I did see the interview. Cannot help but love the guy.
@bar-down Well and of course Tay Tay was a good luck charm, not a jinx like some other people.
@zeke4ahs She (and the sage burners) cleansed the mojo around MSG. She's a Knicks fan. Looked like an awesome girls night and her Stevie Knicks shirt was awesome.

You talking about Mamdani?

It would appear he is definitely a mush.
not really the spurs fault to be honest.
Self confidence matters. The Knicks have it, the kids from Texas don’t. The last 5 minutes of the game were awful for SA, bad shots, bad passes, impatience. They played like they knew they’d blow it. At the 5 minute mark I told my son knicks were gonna win. SA’s game went downhill.

Tom Crean really did have a great eye for talent
@thehoosierhuddle I’m amazed at the blowback she is getting from people for having fun! Glad no one was recording me at the Natty! I was more like Mariska though, looking like I was going to puke until the very last second! 😎
