This is almost as dumb as having a month to celebrate someone’s decision to sodomize another man, but the meltdown some wokesters are having is hilarious….

Whereas the second paragraph (biological parents) contradicts the first (biological, adopted, fostered).

Mike Braun you stupid dick. Way to fuck up a meaningless proclamation. Douchebag.

The parade is going to be the most boring parade ever. A bunch of Karen's getting hammered on Rose and dads yelling at their shitty kids. At least we get a day off work, right? No? What the fuck...

Support for the nuclear family was one of the first victims of a society in constant search for more examples of oppression and discrimination.  The significance of the traditional nuclear family on a healthy society is obvious and recognizing that fundamental fact is in no way oppressive or discriminatory against other familial groups.

I think the governor is on the right track.

2 parent privilege?

I'm really tired of things that were the norm a generation or two ago now being labeled a privilege.  Perfect example of making a word meaningless.  It's just background noise and sane people will just stop paying attention to whoever is bleating about privilege.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@hooky in the meantime every single day here on the news: car break ins. 1:00 am. Group between 14 and 16 years old apprehended.  And released to their parents.  Yippee

When I was a kid in the 60s, divorce was the province of poor white trash. Even the colored folks got and stayed married. It was scandalous for middle class whites. Now even upper class soccer playing lawyers get divorced and no one bats an eye.

@unclemark i'm incredibly blessed to have two thriving kids and exes and outlaws that are rock stars in coparenting.  none of us follow parenting plans.  we are around all the time that works out to a beautiful 50/50 split ish depending on the week.  my kids know just how deeply loved they are and it's evidenced by our ubiquity.  we are basically one massive extended family there in support of one another with a common goal.  we are teh perfect divorced and exes.  hell my ex wife and baby mama are very close.  we truly are perfect.

and no proximation of it imo equates to the benefit of a nuclear family.   i KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt both of my kids have suffered tremendously.   and for those that haven't experienced it, even under the best of circumstances, there is no pain like the pain of dropping a kid off.  even when you know you're going to see them tomorrow it's like nothing one can imagine unless they too have experienced it.

so no divorce happens.  sometimes is necessary.  but should never be normalized.  the nuclear family is and should always be the ideal imo catholic opinion.  and two gays can be GREAT parents.  doting obsessively loving parents.  i know that.  i have friends who are that!  but again inculcation and experience will always be the ideal is a traditional nuclear family
