lol...he doesn't hate Canada. They just refuse to play ball. Trump wants them to cut ties with China. His entire policy this term has been trying to control energy flows to box in China and to continue the U.S. as the only superpower (or at leverage our position while we still have an advantage). Carney is a globalists, open border economic zone guy, told Trump to go f#ck himself.

Fact is tourism from Canada and Europe (and elsewhere) is down. Fact is many Canadians don't feel welcome in the US. Fact is many of the Canadian renters in our Tucson complex aren't renting this year. The reason for all this is obvious even though you don't want to admit it. This isn't me, it's them, so stuff your "petty officer" insult. You don't like reality, so you deflect.

Canadians* in general seem to be the most laid back and easy going type there is, as long as you treat them fairly. But cross them and they get as stubborn as a bull moose in the middle of the road.

The stereotype about them being always polite holds true, at least anecdotally for me. Pre 9-11 I was crossing the border and got hung up gaining entry. Totally my fault. They could have treated me poorly and would have been within their rights. Instead, the officer and his supervisor got together and figured out a way for me to be admitted, even though I could have rightly been turned away.

I used to ridicule the liberals (zeke, for example) who claimed GWB was destroying the USA's reputation overseas, because it was a fact that he wasn't. Trump is undoubtedly doing this, and the tourism numbers prove it. What Trump accomplishment should be recognized by Canada? None.

Yeah, that was a good time. Has little to do with what I posted but there are many reports of people that only attended the matches in Canada and Mexico because they didn't want to be in the US due to feeling unwelcome. I've posted facts you don't like, and you tell me to STFU. I wouldn't say that to you because we've long been virtual conservative friends. Incivility is a prominent MAGA trait, but I don't know if MAGAs became MAGAs because they were uncivil or they became uncivil after becoming MAGA. What do you think?
