I believe that government works best and more honestly when it supports its citizens. A government should be of the people and for the people. I'm not suggesting that nations shouldn't be charitable to others but I am stating that foreign aid should be given only when doing so is supported by a strong majority of the people.
We hate each other. We see hate in culture, entertainment, congress, families, in the streets, and on this board.

Nationalism means loyalty, cohesion and respect for people and culture. I’m a nationalist and practice nationalism. I’m proud to say so.
Those who deride nationalists are the same who mock and ridicule others just cause they believe the wrong things.
For you as an individual certain concepts guide you to be a civil citizen. This is likely true for the large majority of fellow Americans. You’re lumping those concepts together and calling them nationalism.
