Actually, while I think many of our President's opinions are garbage, it should be obvious that I didn't like the wimpy way the Governor responded to him. If I was the Governor I'd have said, "Thank you Mr. President for your opinion. This is a state matter, and we'll handle it in Indiana."

A lot of what “modern day” conservatives want are the same as what we long-term (actual) conservatives want. However, we aren’t isolationists (tried and failed twice before) and don’t cater to the dumbest among us. We value law and order, integrity, honesty, character, etc. (i.e. the opposite of MAGA culture). Most of all we don’t have a weird cult-like loyalty to a deeply flawed and mentally unstable man.
