The problem with issue polls is people say they care about things they think people want them to care about. But they don't. Carville figured this out decades ago.

@goat trump being wrongheaded did two really stupid things in fing with iran and instituting tariffs. i know my brother snarl is wrong and we will eventually see push inflation out of hte tariffs, but even assuming arguendo that snarl is right, it still impacts so many small businesses from costs/profits/supply chains/margins/etc that it's pissing them off and hurting their businesses. then on top of already elevated costs having gas spike to this level and it's just brutal policy. he better find evidence somehwere that they were indeed that close to the promoted enrichment level
The only push inflation was Keynes getting sh#t pushed up his a#% when he was alive. It's a made concept. Also, nobody cares about tariffs. It's mostly a tax on the top 10% and foreigners. We have inflation because we're running 2 trillion dollar deficit's and the Iran war.
