i don't believe it is fair to say. i don't think what trump is doing is maga shit. i think many/much of maga aren't happy with trump's actions. that's why i said if the dems brought someone normal and didn't now go to the insanity of socialistm i believe they could claw back a ton of maga. maga is a pejorative and it shouldn't be one. it's the guy coming to replace your roof. put down asphalt in your driveway. they didn't want wars and they don't like the price of gas cost of living etc. but they don't want to be socialists.
Pretty patent that the Dem party is controlled by a 36 year old bartender and a 34 year old African studies rapper. Not an ounce of professional experience between the two of them. Know nothing about business, creating jobs, etc. Hardcore socialists. Not social insurance. Socialists. When people say who they are believe them. Means of production etc.
At what point will you Dems wake up? It’s obvious they want open borders and little election regulations because they want the poorest, immigrants, people with nothing and who are desperate to flood the country and vote for them. Your average normal white male dreams of creating something, building something. They don’t want that.
Their attacks on billionaires I only partially get. Massive gaps in wealth isn’t healthy. But think of a guy like Bezos. He has a million and a half people employed. He created those jobs. What’s more the real number is probably what? Ten million? People he has allowed to use his platform to start a business and sell products. Mamdani and AOC have not created a single job.
Trump is bad news. But not in the same universe as scary as the Dem party today. Any of you Dems that believe in this country need to get activated. Forget Trump. Fix your ridiculous party or we’re going to end up with a country no one wants other than dumb and dumber leading the party
Once Jim Crow was outlawed, the Democrats couldn’t win elections. They had to cobble together a bunch of special interest groups, promising them everything they wanted. Plus, they tapped into Woodstock Nation, who wanted to keep being the “We’re Against Something and Winning Protest Movement” groups. The result was Woodstock Nation taking over the universities and puking out teachers for the public schools. Now the kids were taught that the US and Capitalism was BAD BAD BAD.

These are generational issues that cannot be fixed in 1 lifetime, and you can’t fix “stupid” at all.
These ideas get “fixed” by cataclysmic events that teach the harsh lessons about the true value of life, work and family.

Poor policies is what helped elect Trump. I think Vance will win because Trump's policies are no where near as bad as Biden's were. @bar-down is wrong and letting his emotions over tariffs cloud is judgement.
As for more "leftists" supporting socialism, it's a demographics shift and has nothing to do with Trump in my opinion. It was going to happen whether Trump became President again or not.

It's still the same thing. People want Trump focused on domestic issues not Israel's foreign policy objectives. And short of mass deportations to decrease demand and increased energy production all of which the left hates there isn't a lot he can do to lower prices anytime soon.

Tariffs are a drop in the bucket. I used Gemini and the Walmart to review. Everything went sky high during Covid. Tariffs are a blip.

@dbmhoosier i don't disagree the lion's share is residual from the biden woke administration. that said small us businesses are paying the tariff tax. no overseas countries. americans. and it's another new bill. then add on record gas prices and trump from a cost of living standpoint has done nothing to improve the lot of most americans. in fact he has made it worse, including for ssmall businesses

Nobody in the real world gives a shit about Pro Israel. Just ask Massie. The problem was/is gas prices and inflation picked back up because of the war. And in the next 3-6 months nobody will care as gas prices go back down.
