Why the fire icon? You happy about Trump giving $1.7B of tax dollars directly to his cronies?

It should be more given what they did.
You truly are an idiot. This is about a contractor who worked for the IRS leaking Trump’s tax returns. The contractor was caught and prosecuted. Trump was embarrassed by his returns which showed he paid an absurdly low amount given his wealth, which of course is why Trump was the first Presidential candidate in decades who didn’t release them. He was embarrassed by them and sued the TAXPAYERS for $10 BILLION solely because he was embarrassed. The suit was about to be tossed so he instead conspired with his cronies at DoJ to steal $1.7 BILLION from us instead under the bogus pretense that the previous administration picked on him. It’s a joke and you applaud this because you’re the dumbest poster and biggest Trump sycophant in WC history.🔥 🔥

Legal question: If a lawsuit that has actually been filed with the court is "settled," doesn't the court have to at last sign off on it? For exactly the reasons that we have in this case, that it's all above board and there's no funny business going on?

Don't act like you give a f#ck. Your boy Bush spent 10 trillion in Iraq. Did you finally learn how to count?
@unclemark southern district. No. State court. No. Only settlements involving minors. Tax court. Yes. He’s not in the tax court. What aloha knows about anything could fit on the tip of a fingernail. Trump brought this in district court. He can settle outside of court. Dismiss. Do anything he wants. If it were in the tax court different story entirely. Particularly in response to an irs initiated action. 99 percent sure
This isn’t a done deal and the extent of judicial approval is an open question
Trump controlling both sides is unusual, but that’s how the cookie crumbles He didn’t ask the Biden IRS to violate the law
I think the $1.776 billion settlement is pretty creative
@co-hoosier it's actually brilliant on multiple levels from his perspective. but it's not anything good for taxpayers.

The 'lawsuit' was based upon the IRS leaking Trump's tax returns. In 2019. Impressive lawyering.

You're just pissy that I told you that the NASDAQ would outperform BTC and you wouldn't listen
@dbmhoosier because they leaked his tax returns? LMAO.
