I don't see a reply to SPLC's claim they were paying informants. IF that is what they were doing, does it make Trump a major supporter of the Chinese Communist Party because undoubtedly the US pays informants there?

@arthur-dent the issue is they allegedly took donations and funneled money to these "informants" through fake bank accounts to disguise the source. That is the basis for bank and wire fraud. Also potentially a misrepresentation to their donors of what the funds were to be used for.

Piling on are those who see “white nationalism” in all corners of the country, all of which I see as another unsupported hoax.
This hoax is not without consequences as successful white males were instructed that they were racists and some organizations forced public confessions and letters of apology.
Other organizations taught that all white people are racists as part of their DEI training.
Lloyd Austin had the entire military stand down for a time while it focused on rooting out White Supremacy from the ranks. General Milley testified he read books to understand white supremacy.
Some White boys in k-12 education and white young men in higher ed were taught to not be racist as if they were all supremacists.
White males were denied employment and promotions solely as an alleged remedial measure for their racism.
The list goes on. The adverse affects are deeply embedded in our social and economic fabric.
I’ve come to believe that white supremacy hysteria was made up, either by deliberate intention or simple lazy thinking. That’s not to say racism is non- existent, it isn’t. But I am saying the issue has been blown out of proportion and the consequences are damaging for no reason other than to advance specific racial agendas for political advantage or to gain attention.

SPLC’s dishonesty is an easy case to make. The problem with this case is whether its dishonesty is a crime. I think that is a tough row to hoe. This will be interesting. If the government is successful, the way 501(c)(3)’s do business and solicit funds will need to change. Remember NY’s fraud case against Trump was civil, not criminal.
