@snarlcakes with all the gerrymandering on the new maps, there aren't many competitive House seats. Like 30 close races?
Senate will come down to Ohio, Maine and Alaska. Dems are likely to gain NC... And I don't see them losing any seats they currently hold.
Turnout may well be a problem for the GOP. Not that people will flip voting from Red to Blue, but rather just won't show up.
This is where we disagree. When it comes time to vote, you have to give people something to vote for. I don't see turnout being any more of an issue for the GOP than Democrat's. Trump has been around for 10+ years. Being super mad at him isn't going to drive turnout for them now. And it's not like Democrats have any polices worth a sh#t. Their platform now is we hate Trump, white people, and dudes. And nobody cares anymore about their grievances. They're just a bunch of rejects and chicks. I am still going with the GOP maintains the senate and the house ends up a lot closer than people think.
Despite the administration portraying the agreement as a breakthrough, critics have argued that the concessions offered to Iran far outweigh the commitments secured in return.
Trump's been played. He should have seen it coming.
"Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation." -Donald F. Trump
We've had nothing but shit choices for President since the 2016 election.I hope we get someone, anyone, with an ounce of gravitas in 2028.
Good summary of the disaster.Trump, in caps on Truth Social, to the Iranian people on January 13, 2026: “KEEP PROTESTING. TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS. HELP IS ON ITS WAY.”
Shortly after he launched the war, he said “there will be no deal with Iran without UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”
His stated reasons for the war included regime change, the destruction of Iran’s enriched uranium, the destruction of Iran’s ballistic missile program, and an end to Iran’s arming, directing and funding of terrorist groups outside its borders.
None of this has been achieved.
Yesterday he said we’ll get the uranium “when we have a chance.” He’s now ok with Iran retaining ballistic missiles (Netanyahu must love that one) because, after all, everybody else has them. The MOU does not specifically address Iran’s financing or control of its regional proxy forces, and no proxy group is a signatory, so the proxies will keep doing Iran’s bidding.
Here’s Ted Cruz yesterday, trying to be diplomatic about this horrible (for the US) deal: “History teaches us that giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder us is not a good idea. I think the president is receiving some very poor advice on this deal.”
Here’s Senator Bill Cassidy: “Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave . . . Iran’s nuclear ambitions were not curbed, and they have learned that threatening the Strait of Hormuz works and will undoubtedly leverage it in the future. Now Iran gets to build brand new infrastructure under this deal, [which is] the worst foreign policy blunder in decades.”
All the talk about how this war proved that Trump was saving Israel and, indeed, the world from Iranian aggression? That no one else had the savvy or the balls to stop it? What a load of shit. He essentially admitted yesterday that this deal is to prevent a global “economic catastrophe” as a result of the closed Strait of Hormuz, a development that was entirely of his making.
This has been a debacle, courtesy of our weak CIC. He folded like a cheap suit.

I thought we made fun of presidents for signing stuff electronically?
so confused:)

I think there is lot more "not showing up" than flipping sides. Dems didn't show up in 2024 because they weren't excited by Harris. The people that didn't vote are almost as much as fault as the people that voted for Trump (but not quite).
The only thing that may save trump is the gerrymeandering countering the loss of votes.
@hurryinghoosiers only those who were mentally impaired
Lol. Like you and Trump?
dumb and a hypocrite. you're quite the combo.
trump stood trial
biden was incompetent to do so
trump just hosted a ufc event on the lawn where he was out front and center
biden was sequestered or when in public choreographed because he did things like not remember clooney
stop being a shill and trying to spread propaganda. you don't have the ability of persuasion when you are short on knowledge, education and experience
A comparison with the JCPOA.

Please share what excites you as a liberal voter to get out to the polls and vote for your beloved Democrat Party? And don't say anything about Trump.

Independents now constitute 47% of all voters, and they're favoring - - by a substantial margin - - Democrats in the Congressional midterms.
It's going to be ugly for the GOP in November. The Trump Shit Show is to blame.
Poll shows independents favor Democratic-controlled Congress
@big-ryan how bad is it going to be? Are you sh#t libs going to win 55 seats in the Senate? 250 in the House? Don't be a wimp. Tell us. You like to tell us everything else.
