This is crazy. Simply walking away and leaving sanctions on would have been better than this garbage.

I actually hope Israel goes ape shit on HZB at the first opportunity and queers this thing.

@aloha-hoosier in a little over a year, Trump reduced his coalition to nothing but @snarlcakes and some monetizers. It was a story few could have ever seen coming.

The GOP deserves to get annihilated in November.

First the MAGA isolationists were mad, now the MAGA hawks are mad.

MAGA hawks' Iran mutiny deepens Trump's isolation

Mark R. Levin on X: "Name one country, any country, that would go along with a MOU or deal preventing or conditioning its ability to defend itself against a massive terrorist force on its border firing missiles and drones into its towns and cities.  Name one.  And it has to get permission to defend" / X

He started a war we didn't have to start and then lost it. Now all his jesters are running around trying to explain why this was actually a win. At a certain point people start getting tired of getting pissed on and then having people explain how great it is that we are finally getting rain.

I hope we get someone, anyone, with an ounce of gravitas in 2028.

You dummies are still clueless after 10 years.  Nobody gives a sh#t about you neocons. You guys sit in the corner by yourselves at lunch.

I wish we knew each other because I'd bet you the GOP hangs onto the Senate and the House will be closer than you think.  How many seats do you think the Democrats will win in the House?

What is the old lady pollster who said Trump was down 10 in Iowa saying?  She's brilliant.

Trump, in caps on Truth Social, to the Iranian people on January 13, 2026: “KEEP PROTESTING.  TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS. HELP IS ON ITS WAY.”

Shortly after he launched the war, he said “there will be no deal with Iran without UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”

His stated reasons for the war included regime change, the destruction of Iran’s enriched uranium, the destruction of Iran’s ballistic missile program, and an end to Iran’s arming, directing and funding of terrorist groups outside its borders.

None of this has been achieved.

Yesterday he said we’ll get the uranium “when we have a chance.”  He’s now ok with Iran retaining ballistic missiles (Netanyahu must love that one) because, after all, everybody else has them.  The MOU does not specifically address Iran’s financing or control of its regional proxy forces, and no proxy group is a signatory, so the proxies will keep doing Iran’s bidding.

Here’s Ted Cruz yesterday, trying to be diplomatic about this horrible (for the US) deal: “History teaches us that giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder us is not a good idea. I think the president is receiving some very poor advice on this deal.”

Here’s Senator Bill Cassidy: “Ronald Reagan is rolling over in his grave . . . Iran’s nuclear ambitions were not curbed, and they have learned that threatening the Strait of Hormuz works and will undoubtedly leverage it in the future.  Now Iran gets to build brand new infrastructure under this deal, [which is] the worst foreign policy blunder in decades.”

All the talk about how this war proved that Trump was saving Israel and, indeed, the world from Iranian aggression?  That no one else had the savvy or the balls to stop it?  What a load of shit.  He essentially admitted yesterday that this deal is to prevent a global “economic catastrophe” as a result of the closed Strait of Hormuz, a development that was entirely of his making.

This has been a debacle, courtesy of our weak CIC.  He folded like a cheap suit.

@snarlcakes with all the gerrymandering on the new maps, there aren't many competitive House seats. Like 30 close races?

Senate will come down to Ohio, Maine and Alaska. Dems are likely to gain NC... And I don't see them losing any seats they currently hold.

Turnout may well be a problem for the GOP. Not that people will flip voting from Red to Blue, but rather just won't show up.
