Golf and mowing. Those are the two things I look forward to every week, it's my peace zone.
Getting new clubs isn't as important as getting clubs that are a fit for you. Get sized and then get new grips for your clubs.
The Bryan Bros on YouTube are pretty high quality golf. Wesley was on the PGA tour until he got suspended because of being on YouTube and competing for money (I think that's why). Jason Day has a YouTube channel with his friends called the lads, who are all pretty decent. Phil Mickelson was on there, but since those allegations came out, he's been MIA.

Thinking of getting back into the game full time. Still looking at new clubs. Last time I played seriously, there was little to no YouTube. Now, golf advice/shows are all over the place.
My favorite guy I've found, Golf Sidekick (he's funny, and his caddy is great, too):
Good luck. Maybe you will get as good as Trump. I guess he just won another Club Championship. Throughout the week he whips Iran's a#%, imposes tariffs on Murt's sh#tty business, deports some dog eating Haitians back home and still manages to find time to get up down for birdie.
@goat you’re just saying something that’s completely inaccurate. Go look what I posted. That’s the law and reality
Take up fishing instead. It's only slightly cheaper and Maybe as hard to be "good" at it. But you get outside on the water, it can be very Zen and peaceful, and occasionally you get to kill something.
@mrhighlife my pop does that all over colorado and out west. my uncle said he's actually not very good. doesn't seem to bother him.
most fishermen aren't very good and often don't catch anything. But a bad day fishing beats a great day at work every time.@mrhighlife my pop does that all over colorado and out west. my uncle said he's actually not very good. doesn't seem to bother him.
@mrhighlife he's fished at some of the most ridiculously beautiful spots out west. he was doing this thing where you volunteer work at the national parks and they give you free lodging.
My son loves to fish. I can't stand it. Too boring. We went a couple of weeks ago to my uncle's place. Caught a ton of blue gill.Take up fishing instead. @bradstevens yeah i don't like it either. like the scenery. like walking around. can't stand there and just do that.
@bradstevens if you’re looking for new clubs I highly suggest getting fitted. Most off the shelf clubs have a lie angle that works for like 10% of people and the shafts are too heavy.
I can live with you getting an OTS driver but your irons should be fitted. Those guys can work magic. Just make sure your swing is somewhat dialed before getting fitted or you’ll get fitted for a bad swing.
it's definitely more about the peace and quiet. Not for everyone.@bradstevens yeah i don't like it either. like the scenery. like walking around. can't stand there and just do that.
