@unclemark she does matter. if preservation was the goal she was a stupid hire. and it's definitely just trying to stick it to the libs. play the game and live to fight another day then strike back when the admin etc changes

What has she done that's so wrong? I really don't know.
i think i'd contribute to nil before even pbs at this point. just no need for it in this day and ageDude, have you forgotten when Sesame Street were practically babysitting your kids?
Better not cancel Austin City Limits.

NPR CEO Katherine Maher Still Wants You To Believe Her Network Isn’t Completely Biased
Posting a Daily Caller article complaining about bias broke my irony meter.
@unclemark the carrier doesn’t discount the allegations contained therein. They’re quotes

She's been there since March 2024. The quotes were from 2020. And the reporting they complain about was all from before her tenure. The article is as slanted as could be without pushing bald faced lies. Exactly the kind of bias they accuse NPR and PBS of.
Better not cancel Austin City Limits.
I've been a sustaining donor (very small amount) for a number of years. When Indiana recently pulled their funds I bumped my monthly contribution by 50%. I'm now considering just giving them a one shot contribution that is pocket change for most, but at least I'll be able to say I did more than complain.
@unclemark those are her quotes. On a platform already with a bias. The slant of the article is of no moment. Limit yourself to her quotes. Her words. That hire guaranteed they’d get whacked. It was a dumb hire. You think she’s going to be objective or targeted with that history
