Bringing Afghans here who helped us in the war in Afghanistan was the right thing to do. They opposed terrorism and the Taliban version of Islam and supported us, our allies, and our way of life nearly 100 percent. They were generally the most educated of Afghans. Our interpreters when we were there were both medical Doctors, and thankfully both of them are here in the states now. In a perfect world they'd be neighbors of yours and would help you with your ignorance.
Of course, all immigrants should be vetted, no matter where they come from. Of course, taking care of Afghans that supported us in Afghanistan is the right thing to do. Doing the right thing doesn't always mean that no poor consequences will ever happen. We don't yet know this guy's story. Maybe he became disillusioned with his circumstances. Maybe his neighbors were total racist douchebags like you and led him to hate Americans. Maybe he developed mental illness. Maybe he became MAGA and decided that the National Guard were members of the "Deep State" which is what you've claimed about me, a retired military veteran. We don't know (and for those whom I'm not posting too, I'm exaggerating for effect). After all, your ancestors came to this country and never envisioned that one of their descendants would be a room temperature IQ dumbass like you. The point is that immigrants and descendants will occasionally include people that commit crimes or aren't productive members of society (again you?). It's inevitable and you'd understand this if you weren't 1 thru 5 above.
The idea that the last step in the process which was completed by this administration doesn't count is absolutely moronic and exactly someone with your exposed traits would think.
Because I'm not you with all your flaws, I most definitely do not blame the Trump administration or the previous administration for this shooting. I blame the perpetrator who I hope will be brought to justice.

I think everyone is to blame. That being said, hard disagree on dropping them here just because they helped out over there. Sometimes "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" can play out on one battlefield but that dynamic changes when the situation does. Islam doesn't belong here right now (if ever). We have to live with what we already have, but we shouldn't be importing more of it. I can pull video after video of "moderates" in the US providing the comfort to people like this asshole by saying things like "Islam will come into every home in the US". The "moderates" know EXACTLY what they are doing when they sit in their mosques and nod along with that. They know that there are a not insignificant percentage of the people sitting in their with them who clearly hear that as a call to violence. Muhammad's call to violence.
Nope, for the enemies of our enemy that became our friends for a short while, they should have been dropped somewhere else in the middle east where they could have been around their like minded friends.
