if he has immunity why can't answer?

Reason #1, Pardons are effective for accusations made up until the date of the pardon, not a get-out-of-jail-free card for future allegations. It appears that the main purpose of the interrogation was to catch an 85-year-old man on some misstatement he might make today, likely viewed after being lifted from context and without any scientific insight.  A gotcha.  His 5th A pleas prevented that.

Reason #2 is that the presidential pardon doesn’t cover state prosecutions and at least two states, Alabama and Florida, have indicated a willingness to charge him.

Reason #3 is that many MAGA lawmakers have asserted that the pardon itself should be declared invalid. If that is ever clarified in their favor, he of course has no immunity whatsoever.

just telling the truth gets him clear of #1

states charging him would just result in more theatre and political grandstanding.  nothing will come of it except lawyers cashing in

and as much as all the autopen pardons should be declared invalid, we know damn well that will never happen

tell the truth, own the mistakes and then slink off into obscurity.

being 85 gets him 0 sympathy from me, he should have known better

Well, it's been proven that the vaccine was safe and effective. It's not a mystery.

Jesus Christ this moron.  Surprised he still posts here after all the L's he's taken.

Embarrassing.

Enjoy your "long Covid".

Dear Penthouse...I'm a scientist from a small Ivy League university and I never thought something like this could happen to me...

@drjb good post.  Fauci calling mayors and shit to lockdown.  Hopefully he rots in hell.  Just a Fing nerd that trump should have never let speak to the public.

red states AG’s will go after him. Waste of time. Will be more grandstanding that amounts to nothing. Tho if it forces him to spend his last years miserable it’s a good use of tax dollars imo

Under penalty of perjury, did you ever spend your time on this board ridiculing people for forwarding the lab leak hypothesis?
