Now setting aside what they can actually get done this is the type of stuff that would win elections.  not socialism seizure of private property, defund, eliminate ice, mutilate children and the regular menu of dem stupidity

https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/healthcare-tops-democrats-list-win-090000509.html

the above would win elections

Printing money and increasing costs on the working class and middle class isn't a great strategy.  It's one of the main reasons why Democrats went woke and lost to Trump, twice.  Obamacare is a disaster.

Dumb as usual.

Inflation under Dems was out of their control (pandemic).  Economy has recovered by the time trump took over but he decided tariffs and a war were needed thus actually caused inflation with his dumb choices.

Projection isn't a good look but when you are incapable of thinking for yourself, it is understandable.

@snarlcakes

it's not getting fixed.  it's too big.  and the credits etc offset some of the increase so people will like that.  and the tariffs are stupid and people will like that.  the war is a cluster.  people will like that.

the above is all smart dem politics.

lol...we can agree printing money and giving it to people makes the people receiving it happy.  Buying votes is an effective policy.  However, there is a trade off.  It pisses off the people who have to pay for it.

By the way Obama s#cked and Trump is a better President.  And tariffs suck because Trump didn't cut income taxes.  Balancing the budget isn't a popular policy.

Lol how many times did Trump send people checks with his name on it?

He was also wanting to buy votes with the tariff money before the supreme court made him return it.

Then you have Elon musk literally paying people to vote the last election.

But it is Dems buying votes...lol projecting again

It actually pisses everyone off as it makes everything more expensive.  Good in the short term though to win elections because Dem voters are complete idiots.

I agree.  Bush and Obama being terrible Presidents are what helped pave the way for Trump.   Obamacare was terrible for the Democrat Party.  They essentially had to abandon the working class and embrace woke weirdos, socialists, and open border/mass immigration freaks to piece together a coalition that can win elections.

You must be trying to take over as biggest moron on the board

Obama was the last good president we have had.  And trump makes bush look pretty good as well by comparison

lol....He was so good, you guys got your a#%es kicked by Trump twice.  Some other facts for you. Obama took a 60 seat majority in Senate and whittled it down to 46 by the time he left office.  And the House went from 255 to 188.  Obama sucked.

How did Trump kick Obama's ass?  I'm confused.  Obama was a good president.  Not great, but good.

Trump defeated Hillary, a massively flawed candidate, mostly based upon 1) Convincing the public that Hillary was an untrustworthy candidate (which in fairness was fairly true), 2) Building a beautiful wall and making Mexico pay for it (which didn't happen), 3) Repealing / Changing the ACA (which didn't happen), 4) vowing to eliminate the national debt over 8 years (which REALLY didn't happen), 5) Throwing out "the absolutely awful and unfair" NAFTA (which he did and replaced with USMCA, which was essentially the same deal) and 5) cutting the corporate tax rate (which he did do, though it's debatable whether the level he cut it to has been a net positive or not.  Definitely not a net positive with regards to the deficit).

Hillary was only in the equation because Biden decided not to run (Beau had just died).  If Biden had run in '16 he would have won.  Hillary was a horrible candidate and Trump only beat her by about 10,000 votes.

If Obama was a good President the voters certainly disagreed.  He turned a supermajority in the senate to a majority for the GOP and took the House from +70 D to minus -70 D.  And Trump won the White House.

In November if Trump loses the entire Congress in a landslide. And that also continues in 28 and AOC wins the Presidency.  You wouldn't point to that as data showing Trump's term was sh#t?

too late

they already supported completely open borders, child transexual healthcare without parental knowledge/consent, a Commie mayor, a violent fraudulent Muslim Minnesota, Hamas and Iran.

Ain’t nobody got time for that. They are the only party that can somehow lose to Donald Trump.

and then Trump lost 40 seats within two years.  The opposition party generally picks up seats.

Despite Obama being apparently so hated, he finished his second term with a 56% approval rating.  Currently Trump is in the 33% to 35% range.  That's going to be the reason that he gets killed in November.

I agree the opposition usually pick up seats. However, it's usually not to the degree that Obama lost seats.  Why would you put more weight on a generic poll that means nothing compared to how people actually voted?

Obama also had to preside over the worst economic conditions this country had seen in nearly a century.  That might have had a bit to do with their voting patterns.  Most of those 70 seats came in 2010 before things started turning around.
