Not so fast. In Bush v. Gore, the Supreme Court held 7-2 that the equal protection clause requires consistency in voting standards regarding registrations, purges, tabulation, recounts etc. The Feds do have an interest through enforcement of equal protection. Lots of litigation will follow this.

That's not what happened. What's funny is, if you read what happened, you still come to the conclusion that the teacher absolutely needed to be fired. So, why can't we just report the truth, when that was enough? Why the need to misrepresent it?
